Run 199 (01/05/2013)

Today was hard! I felt really out of breathe, and had to stop a lot. Someone who drove by and yelled “RUN FOREST RUN!” at me threw a tub of chocolate ice cream out of the window. THE NERVE! I picked it up, realizing there’s no trashcan in sight. So I left it in the parking garage for someone to come in and pick it up. Hopefully someone will. At least it’s not outside.

I sorta helped a chinese girl find a bus. Sorta. Idk the bus times around here for the 1B bus. ><

Run 198 (01/04/2013)

Back at Purdue!! I ran late last night after my mom dropped me and my roommate off. I ran on campus, like always. It was pretty cold out! Only 31 degrees.. but still chilly.

Run 197 (01/03/2013)

Yupp. I skipped a day. I had to babysit really early and was lazy. Then napped for the rest of the day and went to Lovers Lane, where I got this really cool oil massage candle. You light it and pour it on your lover. It doesn’t burn, and sounds like a cool thing to try out. I’m excited :) I won’t able to try it out until my birthday…sadly :/

I tried running on the trail today, but right as I crossed the bridge, there were these guys that were cutting down trees and putting herbicide on the ground!! What the f?! I’m going to figure out what “herbicide” is and see if it would be natural for the environment. I’m not going to let this go unchecked!!!

Run 196 (01/01/2013)

I ran at night, nothing to do today but clean. My boyfriend is in Wisconsin so nothing to do…BUT RUN!!! So today was a good run for the start of the new year.

I’m baaaaacccccckkkkkkk :D

Hey! I’m back! After a long semester of not posting everything, this is what happened: I gained about 10 pounds (but you can’t really tell), but I’ve still been running. Just not…mad. Like normal people. The average run for me would be about 5 miles…unlike last year where it would be about 6.5-7 miles…which makes a BIG difference! I’ve felt I haven’t been eating veggies as much, and thus gaining the 10 pounds. My BMI is 22.8….and I would like to get it down to 21 or 20. Also, I want to train for the Indy Mini this May. So, since I haven’t been motivated since I’ve stopped posting…I decided to post again! Just to motivate myself, and see all the numbers come together. Hopefully this works! So, in summary:

Goals:

-train for marathon

-drop to at least 121 lbs

-BMI of around 21 or 20


Run 195 (08/20/2012)

Long day. I had 4 classes today, and in between one of them I had to work at the LCC, where I got promoted!!! Now, I am the Faculty Coordinator! Which means I get to be crafty and look up Hispanic Holidays to share with the students who walk through our doors! I’m so pumped!

I ran the whole trail today. I was thinking about my best friend’s wedding the whole time, and how I wanted to be involved with it. Oh well, I’ll find some way to be involved, just you see!

Run 194 (08/19/2012)

So I ran on Friday, but forgot to record the time. And I didn’t run on Saturday, because it was a crazy day with going up to South Bend and waking up late and all those other factors of being lazy. But at least I got to run today!

Run 192 (08/15/2012)

Today I was to help my sister babysit these two boys, but I was so focused on my paper that I didn’t go over to help her. So I didn’t make any money, but I was able to run! I ran through the neighborhood today, because I think it’d be good to switch the trails up a bit.

Run 190 (08/13/2012)

How lucky am I to run on the 13th? With it being my first run after coming back from Costa Rica, I didn’t run too far. In fact, it was raining outside as well, so that’s another factor in why it was short. But after the run, I felt great. It’s good to get back into running again.
